Five friends – Prem, Vivek, Aashika, Diya and Jaks win free entries to an exclusive new year’s night party in Mumbai. But on their way to Mumbai, they experience weird encounters on the highway which quickly escalates into a series of gruesome murders, as one by one, people start to bump off. I might have not given away the spoiler had the film been half as decent as Ram Gopal Varma’s Phoonk. But Mumbai 125KM is such a pathetic excuse of a film, that I don’t mind giving away the suspense. Veena Malik plays the ghost who seeks revenge from the gang of party crazy friends, whose recklessly rash driving killed her family on the highway. One by one, she hunts down all the five friends and quenches her thirst for revenge.
